Coaching should not be thought of as a quick fix, although you will feel much better as soon as you begin. The real benefits usually start to emerge further in the process. The industry standard for seeing the most successful results is a coaching relationship spanning three to six months. My Fresh Steps encourages you to commit to a minimum of two months coaching in order to attain maximum benefits and value for money.

On agreeing a course of life coaching with “My Fresh Steps” Coaching takes place by phone, initially this is usually once a fortnight for 45 minute’s. My Fresh Steps use the telephone as I feel it is more effective and very convenient as offers greater flexibility for people with a busy lifestyle. Coaching can be conducted wherever the client happens to be, and coaching sessions can be arranged with minimum prior notice.

Your thoughts determine your attitude since attitudes are simply habits of thoughts

I understand that the best time for most busy professionals and mums or dads is evenings due to busy work and family commitments during the day. I arrange our calls between 8pm and 10pm Monday to Friday. This allows you time to settle in a relaxed atmosphere and release the stress of the day and minimise distractions.  This also allows time for those with children to settle them into bed.

Day time coaching sessions either week days or weekends can be arranged by prior arrangement.

As a general guide, the industry standard for seeing the most successful results is a coaching relationship spanning three to six months. Initially, clients usually choose to book six 45 minute sessions on a fortnightly basis. Sessions are then scheduled depending on individual needs, at a day and time to suit you – usually in the evenings. Coaching is more effective if we arrange regular calls, avoiding large gaps between each session. This enables me to encourage and motivate you to stay on the right track and maximise your progress

Consider the postage stamp; its usefulness consists in the ability to stick to one thing till it gets there.

Fees are payable in advance. It is more cost effective to pre-book a package of six or more sessions. Included in the price is free e-mail support between sessions, giving you an invaluable way to keep in touch and stay motivated. Why close friends are not the same as Life Coaching

I have had some people ask me – Why their close friends are not the same as Life Coaching – Everyone is different and all have different values, beliefs, ideas and opinions. Friends, how ever well meaning will general try to impose their idea on a given situation – but for you to find your “FRESH STEPS” and to make this effective, it must come from within. How often have you said to a friend “you’re right, I know you are right”? BUT then you do nothing, or if you do it is without inner belief, conviction or enthusiasm and don’t last the journey. You then find yourself having the same conversation again and again.

Good friends by far are a blessings and we by nature turn to them in many circumstances throughout our lives and rightly so. However when you are in pursuit of your “FRESH STEPS”, the advice, opinions or well meaning input about what you should or should not do will generally not help you to achieve what you want.

Example of My fresh Steps methods:  Manage your time

Life has a nasty habit of taking up your time with “stuff to do” and it seems like a constant battle to find time to concentrate on your goals and achieve the things you want. My Fresh Steps will help coach you in time management which is vital in realising your dreams.

An example of the method I use is below – The main thing in managing your time is to prioritise your daily activities. Some stuff is urgent and really important and has to be dealt with now, some is important but not particularly urgent so can be planned into your day or week, other stuff is urgent but not important and could be delegated to someone else if that is possible for you.

When you start prioritising like this you will find that a huge amount of “stuff” you used to spend so much of your time on is neither urgent nor important.
